SBENU sneakers names its first U.S. distributor

Temple University’s very own Dat Lin, a sophomore and Computer Science major, has been authorized as SBENU’s first U.S. distributor. The Korean shoe company has been soaring through the mainstream in K-pop culture with girl groups like AOA endorsing them and Manchester United naming the company their official casual shoe; the SBENU sneaker is growing more and more popular as it now hits America with its very first authorized vendor.

Dat Lin was raised in the surrounding Philadelphia area, attended Central High School, and formed retail experience throughout his years up until his ventures into SBENU. Monday Nov 2 Dat hit the Temple market, setting up an event in the Howard Gittis Student Center to showcase the 8 different styles that came with the first line of shoes.

Dat explained SBENU sponsored things he enjoyed, “I saw that they are an active supporter of eSports,” which is a Korean competitive multiplayer video game league, “They also sponsor some famous Korean singers and bands like IU, Kisum, as well as the girl group AOA [Ace of Angels],” said Lin.

He was interested in the shoe, but saw that it was very difficult to acquire them in America. “After talking to the representatives, I found out they currently had no distributors in the United States. So I just decided why not take the opportunity to be the first! Which is how I got to where I am right now.” So instead of just buying a pair of SBENU shoes he is now the only U.S. proprietor.

He strongly supports the company and the product they sell, “SBENU makes a comfortable, light, multi-purpose shoe with lots of variety,” Lin said, “They’re nice people, that keep work domestic for people in Korea,” better benefiting their economy. Dat also said, “All the shoes I have in stock from their S-Line are $60 dollars, which are usually $90-$120 dollars online! Their B-line are $80 dollars, and are $120+ normally.” He encourages anyone to contact him as well, if they have a different style in mind that he doesn’t have in stock.

Dat Lin can be sold at a great price. Dat also mentioned, “Hopefully, I plan to open a store in 1-2 years”, which would make him the first SBENU store in the U.S. as well.
